"This Is Your Brain On Music." Dr Daniel J Levitin RSS. N.p., n.d. Web. 29 Apr. 2013.
In this book the author wants the reader to really become connected with the world of music and songs. Almost to the point of wanting the reader to feel like his or himself is from the era the song come out in. Although the author does that in this book he doesn’t lose putting his touch of affection in the book. I do admit though if a reader is a ction kind of person the first few chapters will get to you a bit. But after getting past that the next few chapters are not so bad and it can and will have someone viewing the world of music in a whole new way.

Blue, Rose, and Corinne J. Naden. The History of Gospel Music. Philadelphia: Chelsea House, 2001. Print.
This book talks about the more spiritual fashion and how it connects back to messages. With this type of music everyone has a story to share and they want it to be told spiritually. People feel when they tell their stories in a spiritual form it’s safe from all harm and can be protected. In this book the author also reviews that can lead a reader to really good recordings by their favorite artists and help them explore a whole new world with the gospel impression. This book also helped me with understanding and explaining classical music because they share some of the sam soothing methods.

"Nicki Minaj- Baddest Bit*h (Lyrics)." YouTube. YouTube, 28 Nov. 2011. Web. 28 May 2013.
I used this song to show how this particular artist is telling the younger generation how to think of themselves in a better manner than they already do now. I also used the Nicki Minaj song in order to compare the to lyrics of the song, in order to show what I meant. I will not put the audio because it has cure words in it and that is not something to be heard in school but here is the youtube link, so anyone can listent to it on their own time.
